THE OBSERVATORY

ENTER YOUR DOOR →

Your trip has a sky.

The Observatory renders the real night sky over every city you sleep in — true stars from live ephemeris, veiled by the actual forecast, with a Cartographer that quietly keeps your itinerary honest. Below is Paris on the night of the Perseids: moonless, the shower at its peak, Saturn low in the south.

WHAT THE OBSERVATORY DOES

THE LIVING SKY

Real stars, real weather

Every city on your route gets its own chart — bright stars, the wandering planets, the Milky Way, meteor showers on their true peak nights — veiled by the live forecast. Not a stock photo. The actual sky over the bed you sleep in.

THE CARTOGRAPHER

An honest ledger

It watches for the gaps — a night with no bed, an outdoor day forecast to rain, a booking still unconfirmed — and says so plainly. Costs split by who was there; the running tally never flatters the numbers.

ONE DOOR

Your whole party

One link lets everyone in — travelers see the whole picture, guests see the itinerary and their own share, followers get a read-only view. New trip, new door; people and ledgers never bleed between expeditions.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. 01

    Mint your door

Name a trip. You get a link, a party, and a ledger of your own.

  2. 02

    Chart the days

Drop in your cities and dates. The route and every night's sky assemble themselves.

  3. 03

    Travel under it

Open Tonight each evening for the sky where you sleep, the next departure, and what's still owed.

Start with a sky of your own.

The Observatory is invite-only while it's small. Ask for a door and we'll open one — or step through yours if you already have it.
